REPORT: Israeli army forced food off trucks before allowing entry to north Gaza, says UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, (OCHA).

➤ UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric says aid efforts in northern Gaza are being systematically blocked. All food and medical supplies destined for Kamal Adwan Hospital were forced off trucks at an Israeli military checkpoint, with only some medical supplies reaching the facility.

➤ Thousands of Palestinians in northern Gaza have been without food or aid for over 40 days due to the Israeli military blocking deliveries.

➤ “OCHA reports that all attempts by the UN to support people in Beit Hanoon, Beit Lahiya, and parts of Jabalia – all under siege – have been denied or impeded,” says UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric.

➤ In November, 27 of 31 planned humanitarian missions were rejected by Israel, with the rest severely hindered, leaving vital aid stranded.

➤ As a result, bakeries and kitchens have shut down, nutrition support suspended, and water and sanitation facilities blocked from refueling.
