After being in development by Aliens, Abyss, The Terminator and Avatar director James Cameron and then subsequently dropped, it looks like Hollywood will once again try to get a remake of the 1956 sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet into production from Warner Bros. Pictures and writer Brian K. Vaughan.
