Insane Minister Reveals Israel's 'Sovereignty' Plans for 2025!

Right, so according to one of Israel’s worst, the hard right finance minister Bezalel Smotrich, 2025 is set to be a year of Israel sovereignty, a novel word to be used to today considering the goings on in Lebanon right now to try and negotiate a ceasefire, which has included attempts to get them to cede sovereignty, a deal, the latest form of which has apparently been agreed to at time of writing, breaking news as that is at this moment, though the exact details of that have not been confirmed, and Israel actually sticking to it even if Lebanon and Hezbollah may have assented to this latest agreement, who honestly believes Israel would?
But those comments of Smotrich’s, his wording, his claim of sovereignty is by Israel’s deeds and indeed backed up by other voices in the Israeli Knesset, as well is in relation to lands they have no sovereignty over. Where someone as deranged and far gone as Smotrich might consider such lands to be Israel’s by divine right anyway, he does lead the Religious Zionist Party, what it means in actuality is conquest, domination and takeover of lands completely illegally, all very much in line with the continued expansion and increase of Israel’s wider war and Smotrich is certain that Donald Trump is just the man to help them do it.
Right, so Bezalel Smotrich has been making some what frankly seem to be the claims and opinings of a madman, but as we’ve become more and more accustomed to, the more Israeli atrocity, genocide and aggression moves on and continues, the ore sure of themselves they seem to be that things will go their way and anyone who disagrees is an antisemite and anyone who tries to stop them and clamp down on them is conducting a witch hunt because they are doing nothing wrong, they have a right to self defence, yada yada yada, we’ve heard it all before.
Well Smotrich’s stink and claims of sovereignty next year kicked off about a week ago, but have continued to ramp up since and it’s not just coming from him now either.
On the 11th November, Smotrich gave a speech and this was all about the annexation of the West Bank and he’s got himself into a position, having had further powers over the West Bank ceded to him by the IDF in recent months, making him basically the de facto governor of the West bank, intensely troubling given the guy’s close ties to the settler movement and he’s caused utter chaos in recent months, so much aggression and Israeli attacks on the West Bank, not where Hamas are, not where Palestinians attacked Israel on October 7th from, but as so many of us have come to realise over the last year, it has never about that, never been about rescuing hostages, none of which are in the West Bank either, it has all been about land grabs, displacement, genocide, and Smotrich calls it sovereignty. It infuriates him and others like him, that they haven’t already taken over and with people in government like him, how a two state solution can ever be contemplated by the rest of the world is becoming less and less tenable. Here’s some of what Smotrich had to say:
‘The year 2025 will, with God’s help, be the year of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria (The West Bank). The only way to remove the danger of a Palestinian terror state from the agenda is to apply Israeli sovereignty over all the settlements in Judea and Samaria. This is our answer for Sinwar, to all the Nazis of Hamas, ISIS, for Hezbollah, of the Iranians, what remains of the Iranian resistance axis and the terrorists in Judea and Samaria.
They saw the massacre on 7th October as the first stage, God forbid, of the destruction of the state of Israel. They planned to occupy all of us from within. To launch an attack… from the Arab cities in Judea and Samaria, to all the large population centres in the heart of the country.
In this process, the new Nazis have to pay a price in the territory that will be taken from them forever.’
He is an absolute madman. Sovereignty over the West Bank, by divine will, with God’s help, because October 7th was just the first stage, they’re coming for us from the West bank too, so we need to take their land from them forever.
He’s betting on help from Trump. Now Trump moved the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem after all didn’t he? Just to just nail on his own stupidity in this situation, I don’t think there is a reasonable mind on the planet that doesn’t expect Trump to make matters worse, so who knows? Smotrich might actually be right, but can you imagine the escalation in the Middle East if that happens? All these other surrounding Arab states will have to be looking over their shoulder as Greater Israel takes another step in the direction of becoming reality.
The small matter that it would be against international law likely won’t faze Smotrich or the rest of the Netanyahu administration either, since the US consistently blocks any censure from the UN and the case against Israel at the ICJ, as evidence continues to come in will probably take years.
Smotrich wasn’t finished there though, no, his vision of sovereignty has to include Gaza as well of course, the only way people like him will ever be satisfied that the risk of in his words a Palestinian terror state can ever be taken off the table, is if there is no more Palestine.
Just yesterday, he called for the Israeli army to formally take over the administration of the Gaza Strip and called for them to take over the distribution of humanitarian aid and security in Gaza. Well we’ve just seen how well that has worked out for Gaza haven’t we, particularly the north of the strip where the IDF are carrying out ethnic cleansing to clear all Gazan people from the area, something Smotrich also had plenty to say about, but when one aid delivery finally made it into the north, the first aid delivery in 40 days to the people there, that Israel had let through, no sooner had the aid been delivered to a school, then the IDF blew the school up, destroying said aid and killing 10 people in the process. So sure, put the IDF in charge now, that’s bound to work out well clearly. You’ve banned UNRWA for actually delivering said aid and actually letting people reach it, that is of course the real reason for that ban is it not?
He wasn’t finished there though, as echoing his West Bank claims of sovereignty and the loss of territory there forever, that if the hostages were not returned, the clearing of the north of Gaza would be permanent and Israel would keep it, seizing control of a third of the Gaza Strip for Israel. This is of course entirely in keeping with the so-called General’s Plan, or Netanyahu’s Orders as it should be called, blame where it should be laid, so why should anyone in Gaza actually believe that, or anywhere else for that matter?
Smotrich however, still wasn’t finished. Lebanon also came under his gaze and his land grabbing greedy mentality, Israel still wanting to occupy Southern Lebanon and the only ceasefire agreement they would agree to, included still being able to fire on Lebanon any time Israel likes, therefore, not really a ceasefire and on this it wasn’t even only Bezalel Smotrich saying this, as former Coalition minister Benny Gantz, now back in opposition with his allegedly Liberal Unity Party, has also attacked the Lebanon ceasefire proposal, which appears to have now been accepted by Lebanon, though you can argue they’ve done that specifically to put Israel in the wrong if they keep attacking Lebanon. Here's an excerpt from Anadolu Agency showing Smotrich’s madness is even shared amongst more centrist Israeli figures:
‘Israeli opposition leader Benny Gantz said Monday that any cease-fire agreement with Lebanon must grant Tel Aviv the freedom to strike even after the deal.
"A condition for any agreement with Lebanon - full Israeli freedom of action against any violation," Gantz wrote on his X account.
The US, Israel’s main ally, is mediating between Tel Aviv and Beirut to reach a cease-fire deal to end more than a year of attacks between Hezbollah and Israel.
According to the Israeli public broadcaster KAN, US envoy Amos Hochstein will arrive in Beirut on Tuesday to receive the Lebanese response to a US cease-fire proposal.
Hochstein is also expected to travel to Israel on Wednesday.
Israel wants any agreement to allow its army to strike against what it sees as a violation of the cease-fire terms, a condition rejected by Lebanon.
Last week, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri confirmed that Beirut has received a US proposal for a cease-fire with Israel.
He, however, denied that the proposal “includes any kind of freedom of movement for the Israeli army in Lebanon,” a condition he described as “unacceptable” and non-negotiable. He reiterated Lebanon's refusal to compromise on its sovereignty.’
We still don’t know what’s in the deal Lebanon have reportedly agreed to, did they cross any of their own red lines or not? I can’t imagine them having done so given how Lebanon’s political structure works, and especially since the Prime Minister is a caretaker at this time, with no Lebanese President elected still at this moment and having to take his cues from amongst elected parties as a result. If so, it’ll mean Lebanon by and large got their way, keep their sovereignty, keep resolution 1701 intact as they insisted and would never allow Israel any ground over the border. It’ll be interesting to see how that turns out and how inevitable continued Israeli attacks would be treated, is the US’s role in all of this worth a dime, especially when the envoy they sent is Israeli himself.
2025 is a year where Netanyahu will still be beholden to the whims of his hard right government coalition partners like Smotrich. His comments over the last week on three fronts, indicate no backtracking, no cessation of warfare, nothing less than taking over more territory. With Trump coming back into office 2025, whether Smotrich gets his sovereignty or not, matters seem destined to worsen still into next year.
Will Netanyahu have a part in that himself though? He’s due in the dock in a couple of weeks, those corruption charges he keeps trying to avoid, that he thought ongoing warfare would keep him safe from, have still managed to catch up with him and he’s terrified! Check out the details of that story in this video recommendation as a suggested next watch and to possibly cheer you up a bit after this one and I’ll hopefully catch you on the next vid. Cheers folks.
