Chapter 60 1970 TransAm Clone - Prepaint Window Trim

Worked on front suspension tire clearance.
Cycled front suspension to check for rubbing issues, none found

Assembled and installed Drivers Glass Assembly
Finished installing inner front fender.

Realign front fender after removing lower fasteners that hold fenders.

Started on welding in pin holes around window channel In prep for trim and glass fitment.

Finish drivers side door glass mock-up and initial adjustment.

Began passenger side installation.

Mock-up front parking lights,

Modified valance mounts and light housings for proper fitment.

Modified front window pillars to fit windshield trim
Welded and ground down front window pillars
Marked out locations for trim clips studs and drilled out holes.

Rust guard clip hose (stub location).
Modified driver side window channel to fit trim.
Metal finished driver side window channel.

Marked out trim clips location at rear window.

Drilled out trim clips locations and rust guard stud holes for trim studs.
Modified rear window channel to fit with window trim.
Metal finish area where channel was modified.
Modified rear window channel on passenger side.
Modified rear window channel to fit trim.

Installed passenger side door glass and make initial adjustments
Metal finished passenger side to allow fitment of window trim
Began fitment of side marker lights as well as prepped for roll cage gussets to be installed

Began installation of headlight trim

Worked on trunk lid torsion rod installation.
Adjusted trunk lid after being removed to install trunk torsion rods.

Began tow hook fabrication
