Will JB Weld Original Cold Steel work for your repair? This video takes you step by step through the JB Weld Original Cold Steel epoxy mixing process and application to the repair. We tested JB Weld Original Cold Steel on a 1 inch square of steel to test whether or not it measures up to the advertised 680 lbs per square inch. JB Weld Original Cold Steel takes 5 hours to set and 24 hours to cure. We let our test sample cure for 36 hours before taking it to the ST2K (Adhesive Strength Tester 2000).

We then test our "repair" on the ST2K and came up with a fail point reading.
