Adding variety to your routine can help you understand how you move in the world instead of just focusing on moving the weight. Full Body workouts, in my opinion, are the best to help distribute the load across the body in a limited amount of time. Implementing a full body regime, whether you use free weight, machines, kettlebells, etc. helped me balance movement literacy alongside muscle growth.
