Gameplay Part 18 of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt...

Now we begin "Battle Preparations", another multi-part quest.
We leave Novigrad by heading back to the ship for Skellige. Avallac’h fills the group in on his plan of attack. After the voyage, Geralt speaks to Crach at the docks and finds out where Ermion is. He is off arguing with Madman Lugos. When Geralt arrives the argument turns violent and a fight ensues. After, Ermoion tells you to speak to Eyvind, he tells you where the elven ruins are to find Sunstone.
Geralt heads back to speak with Yennefer. Yen and Ciri go off to investigate Avallac’h's lab. Phillipa goes for the Sunstone.
Geralt first heads out to the Marlin Coast to swim out to toward Emhyr’s fleet and sneak onto his ship so he can free Fringilla. He agress and then Geralt heads to the lab.
Yen has to break a magic lock on the lab door while Geralt and Ciri fight a golem. Inside the lab you find out Avallac’h has a strange obsession with Ciri and her blood line (and Lara Dorren). You also encounter his Aen Elle lover, she lies to Ciri, telling her Avallach'h hates her. Ciri gets upset and Geralt agrees to ransack the lab with her, increasing their bond. Ciri also finds out Skjall is dead. Geralt agrees to go with her to give him a proper burial and say her goodbyes.
Finally, Geralt sails out around the coast of Skellige to the Elven ruins and meets Phillipa. There, they head into the saves, killing sirens, downers, and a golem. Philippa opens a secret door that leads to a room with three mirrors. She lights a magical stone in the ceiling that shines light onto the mirrors. Geralt has to turn each and fight of some ghost Wild Hunt warriors. This releases the Sunstone. She leaves Geralt with it after having a tense conversation about her expectations around Yennefer's role in the Lodge after everything is complete with Ciri. Now Geralt has to fight his way out of the ruins, killing off a few waves of ghost Wild Hunt warriors. Once he escapes, he goes back to the ship with Avallac'h. He speaks with him and then a cutscene occurs where everyone is meeting about the next steps and Avallac’h is filling in the sorceresses on their jobs. Ciri is upset Avallac'h wants her to stay put. Yen asks Geralt to run off with her after all is said and done.
