Mad Max: Ashes to Ashes Part 1 ~ Main Mission

Ashes to Ashes is a quest in Mad Max (2015) and has three parts to complete. The reward is the ability to create ammo after I had liberated the black powder making in a previous gameplay (video on my YouTube Channel).
The first part of the video I am going after saltpeter which is the 1st ingredient to make black powder. As I start to go towards the second location, my curiosity leads me to a side quest that I am oblivious to.
