November 18, 1961 - 'Monon Bell Memory' : DePauw vs. Wabash

DePauw University completed its first winning football season since 1957 by defeating arch rival Wabash College at Blackstock Stadium, 20-7. The visitors from Crawfordsville had 8 more first downs than DePauw and produced more total offense, but two Wabash drives inside the 10 produced no points and DePauw took an early lead and never looked back.
