My pregnant ex-wife now wants me back after her young AP skipped town...No thank you!

This story is told my a middle aged man who had been married to his wife for nearly 18 years. They had two teenage sons and from all appearances had what seemed to be a very happy marriage. He then starts noticing that his wife started acting distant and moody, but didn't address it thinking she was just going through a phase. Then one day she up and leaves the house and doesn't come back for hours. When he confronts her, she becomes defensive and evasive, but eventually confesses that she had been having an affair with another man for several months. The OP is destroyed, but remains strong for his children. He files for divorce and starts to slowly put the pieces of his life back together. Then right before the divorce hearing, his wife calls and tells him she made a terrible mistake and wants to come back home. He tells her it was too late for that and the divorce proceeds.
