How to install LEDS into a F45 Athearn Genesis Ho scale Part 1

Hi everyone I wanted to show you all how to install Leds in this F45 Athearn Genesis model not much different from the FP45 locomotives but still same concept this is how I approach having all the lighting features the only thing I don't do is the Number boards those are way to much more trouble to deal with. I have started to install step well lights both front and back the truck lights where only up front so when the engineer couldn't tell if he or she was moving they could just look down and see if they where moving when the light was refracting off the ballast and ties at night. now I do make my own custom headlights from scratch. I will show you what you need to do when it comes to installing the Resistors. This by the way I call my prep phase so I can do things one step at a time so if something goes wrong I can stop and re do that step.
