[059] Bushmills 12 / Knappogue Castle 12 / Knappogue Castle 16

In my last video, we compared two single malt whiskies with some nice age on them but also very reasonably priced. I realized afterward that I had forgotten about Knappogue Castle! KC 12 is priced in the same range as Bushmills 12 and TD14, so it really should have been part of the video last week. KC 16 is a little bit pricier, but it's matured and finished the same way as Bushmills 12, and we've never tasted it together, so... why not? Any reason to have a drop is a great reason, right?

We know from the last video that Bushmills 12 was the better of the two, at least in my opinion. What about the two from Knappogue Castle, coming from the Midleton Distillery powerhouse? How will they stack up to Bushmills 12? Watch this episode and find out!
