John 1:14 is the hinge of human history. Rather than turning away from His rebellious people, God moved toward us. God the Son took on flesh to be one of us, live the perfect life we should have but couldn't, and die in our place to pay for our sins. What if we were to follow God's example in how we deal with those who have sinned against us? What if we pursued them in grace and truth?
