Episode 29: Balancing the Books

In this episode, Judy hands the flash drive to Mark and Vinny under The Scribe’s watchful eye, completing the deal. The Scribe, a figure of immense authority, records the agreement in his massive tome, erasing Judy’s debts and clearing Mark and Vinny’s slate. Later, in a quiet hospital hallway, Judy asks Humphrey about the flash drive’s fate. Humphrey assures her their part is done, leaving its future to higher powers. Judy admits she left Chad a note while he was sleeping and won’t be coming back. As she steps into the mist, Humphrey reflects on the choices they’ve made and the shadow of the flash drive’s secrets, which may never truly be resolved.
