AK-47 Bayonet Evolution and Design

In this video, I go over the evolution and brief history of the bayonets for the AKM platform. Starting from the first bayonet for the AK-47 all the way to the present day that fits the 47 or AK-74.

The bayonet has become synonymous with the Soviet Union and their famous Kalashnikov platform that has spread throughout the globe.

From wood to bakelite to modern plastics, the bayonet has evolved with the times.

I show the 6h2, 6h3, 6h4, and 6h5 bayonets - also known as the Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 and AK-74 bayonet.
