From Daily Mail: Biblical omen uncovered in aftermath of Hurricane Helene

A biblical omen has been discovered among the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.

A man walking through the wreckage uncovered a Bible attached to a metal post in the yard of a home that had been destroyed.

The pages were opened to the Book of Revelation, chapters 14 and 15, which discusses how people will be punished and perish through a series of great disasters and destruction.

Although Revelation doesn't explain the manner of the destruction, it says the land will be destroyed to make way for a new order of Heaven and Earth.

In a TikTok video, a man in the background is heard saying: 'Of all the things destroyed, [the Bible] was left open and it's sitting there, and we're not touching it.'

Hurricane Helene tore through 16 eastern US states on September 26, downing power lines, destroying homes and leaving entire towns completely flooded.

Stories of divine intervention are also cropping up in the aftermath of the storm, with one Georgia woman saying she was saved by a Biblical voice.

Cindy Cole, 62, reported that the voice woke her up as the tumult of Helene surrounded the area and told her to leave her bedroom just before a tree crashed through the wall.

Despite the severe damage, she said her Bible was the only thing still left fully intact.

In the video posted by Benjamin Fuller, two men explained that the Bible was found after the floodwaters from Hurricane Helene left the area.

'This house was buried and flooded all the way to the roof originally,' Fuller, who owns a beard oil company called The Millstone Store, said in the video.

'The man who lives here had to be rescued off of the roof by a raft and they're just demoing the entire house.

'And this Bible was found on a pole open to Revelation.'

The Book of Revelation is part of the New Testament and has led some to believe the apocalyptic clock is ticking as it discusses other future events that could decimate the population.

A section from the Book of Revelation 14:2 says: 'I heard a sound from Heaven. It was like the roar of rushing waters and loud thunder.'

This is synonymous with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene which claimed the lives of more than 230 people who were found amid the wreckage, in people's backyards and in the floodwaters that reached 15 feet high in some areas.

Chapter 15 sets the stage for the final seven plagues people would experience on Earth before they could enter the Lord's temple including devastation in the water, extreme heat that will set men on fire and an earthquake that will destroy islands and mountains.

Revelation 15:8 says: 'The sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.'

People responded to the video, with one person saying: 'I just went to that scripture and wow. It spoke about exactly everything that's happening and getting ready to happen. That's a warning light right there.'

Meanwhile, others reported that their family members experienced a similar omen.

'My cousin's house recently burned down,' one person commented. 'She lost everything, but the Bible was still intact.'

In a separate account, Cole shared her experience when her Bible survived Hurricane Helene after a tree landed on the bed where she had lain only moments before.

When she returned to her bedroom, she said she found it had been completely destroyed but her Bible remained untouched.

'When I first saw the Bible, I'm like, 'Oh look! I cannot believe that the Bible's still standing,' Cindy Cole told SWNS.

'You cannot touch the word of the Lord. You cannot touch it,' she said.

People up and down the East Coast are still recovering from the impact of Hurricane Helene which has so far resulted in nearly $13.4 billion in damages.

The storm intensified from a tropical storm to a dangerous hurricane in less than 20 hours, leaving many people unprepared and stranded without the means to evacuate.

Experts have warned that recovery efforts from the Category 4 hurricane could cost upwards of $47 billion in losses for property owners.

Revelation 14:2 (NIV)

2 And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.

3 And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

4 These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb.

5 No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

The Three Angels

6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people.

7 He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”

8 A second angel followed and said, “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’[a] which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”

9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand,

10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.

11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”

12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.

13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”

13: “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
Harvesting the Earth and Trampling the Winepress

14 I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man[b] with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

15 Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”

16 So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

17 Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.

18 Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.”

19 The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath.

20 They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.[c]

Revelation 15

Seven Angels With Seven Plagues

15 I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues—last, because with them God’s wrath is completed.

2 And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God

3 and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb:

“Great and marvelous are your deeds,
Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are your ways,
King of the nations.[a]

4
Who will not fear you, Lord,
and bring glory to your name?
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come
and worship before you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed.”[b]

5 After this I looked, and I saw in heaven the temple—that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law—and it was opened.

6 Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues. They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden sashes around their chests.

7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.

8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
