Posted • November 17, 2024: When I was a kid, then a teenager, and then a young adult, SNL was one of my favorite shows EVER. Being little and watching meant it was a night at grandma's and she was letting me stay up too late to watch something super cool, and then as a teenager and young adult it meant hanging out with Opera Man or Toonces the Driving Cat. SNL used to be a lot of fun, and every week millions of people would tune in to laugh. And oh sure, they have always done political bits (who could forget Chevy Chase as Ford) but they didn't really get obnoxious until Obama came into office. Gosh, I can't help but notice a lot of things that were super cool about our country went to crap after Barry was elected. Almost as if that was the plan all along. Ahem.

Anyway, before I get too far off topic and rant about Alinsky tactics and Bill Ayers, SNL thought it would be a good idea to allow a murderer to guest star on their show. Oh, I get it, he was found not guilty but c'mon, we all know a woman is dead and he played a part in her death. Sorry, not sorry. I might even be able to overlook this poor judgement on their part if it had at least been funny, but as usual, it was not. Alec Baldwin as RFK Jr. on SNL. "I care deeply about a woman’s right to choose—to choose to give her child polio." Not even a little bit clever. And definitely not funny. Oooh, RFK Jr. isn't a fan of vaccines … talk about low-hanging fruit, SNL writers.
