Our Third Week at the Lodge: Surprises, Preparations, and Challenges 🌲

In this week's episode, we begin setting up mouse traps to protect our food in the lodge. We also take the boat out for some fishing and are greeted by an incredible surprise—a real gift! Along with that, we cut and collect wood for our fireplace, prepping it to dry so it'll last us through the winter.

However, things aren’t all smooth sailing. Our generator starts acting up, shutting off just minutes after we turn it on, causing a bit of frustration. Despite these challenges, we’re finally settling into our new environment—surrounded by the beauty of the trees, water, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. It’s starting to feel like home.
