Cause and Effect

Choosing to give thanks to God is a conscious choice.Psalm 100:1Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
The truth is the only way we offer God anything of value is through our worship. 
God’s desire: Worship him honestly and because we want to. 
He is in charge.

Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
We have a father who calls us his own.

God wants Joyful worshipers. 
Worship should not feel contrived or stuffy. 
Worship it is a time of celebration.
This isn’t a funeral it’s a house of celebration.

Colossians 3: 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
God is clear that Thankfulness is a choice and Gratitude is an attitude.
Vs 5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
2 Peter 3: 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
