Live Fire Exercise Between Paratroopers from 173rd Brigade Support Battalion and Slovenian Soldiers

Exercise Lippizaner 6 comes to a close with a joint live fire exercise between Paratroopers from 173rd Brigade Support Battalion and Slovenian Soldiers with 670th Logistics Battalion in Poček, Slovenia. The exercise took place over the course of 10 days and gave the Soldiers a rare opportunity to learn from each other and operate together at the platoon level. Together the Soldiers faced many challenging circumstances including weather.

The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army’s Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States Europe, Africa and Central Commands areas of responsibilities. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
