🏳️ AFU POW, former truck driver, who found himself at military commissariat by accident

16.11.24 Captured Ukrainian serviceman Vladimir Datsye said he worked as a truck driver. Once he was stopped at a checkpoint by military commissariat officers to check his documents. This evening, he was taken to the military commissariat. In the morning, he was already at a training ground.

According to him, commanders did not set any tasks for the unit before sending it to the border area of Kursk region. The officers gathered newcomers, checked them, and sent get ready for a redeployment. The command said the servicemen would be deployed on checkpoints.

'The radio didn't work, we moved to a position where the senior should have been, and there was no one at all. Well, it got darker. Russian troops started to launch attacks. We hid behind the trees.
