i haven't been specifically where you are but somewhere nearby
i've been down long enough that i know how to get around
i could teach you but you lack the desire to learn
i used to be way worse than what chu see, i promise man
what could you possibly know if you haven't seen me grow (and i definitely have cos of that damn camera crew in my brain)

they do define me in a way but not that big of a way
it's hard to not let things define you esp when it's a significant part of yer experience

i actually think it's worse cos i don't see myself as a victim of mental illness or whatever this is
reiterating for you, here's my personal metoo story
it's typically drugs n alcohol that lead into these unwanted events
i knew going into it that i shouldn't have done it but i still did it
of course i still took the drugs (candy flipping mind you)
i blamed myself for that whole thing cos i knew better but acted like i didn't
i don't think a lotta women know better actually
people in general end up in situations where they will get taken advantage of n then complain waaaaaaay later
we don't say what we oughta say when we oughta say it cos we lack the self-respect at the time
don't bite words that you really should say
we say so much unnecessary shit instead of what we most need to
your self-loathing won't go away if you don't stick up for yourself, girl
i told him to his face exactly how i felt n still held myself accountable
so hopefully he knows in the future
that metoo shit is fixin to get hot again considering the political climate as of late
mark my words, a buncha white republican dudes are fixin to get accused of sexual assault
a genuine apology should make people cry
so apparently he had fallen in love w/ this girl who manipulated him
usually a person has to go thru sumin to change for the better
i kinda let him treat me like that tho, let's be real
confrontation is sometimes needed
don't wait for an empowering hashtag, tell that person NOW
i'm not denying that men mistreat women but women often put ourselves in that position
many women don't wanna admit how manipulative we are naturally (it's cos we are obsessed w/ details)
i internalize a lot but i will still say what needs to be said
i'd rather be in trouble w/ you than in trouble w/ me
when people are mad it's usually cos you inconvenienced them
of course they ain't gonna like it when you call them out, they gotta defend their shitty behavior
many are on constant defense, esp w/ my gender (female)
selfish. destructive. irresponsible...this is what women want now

my solution to the abortion issue is genius i swear

the penalty for irresponsible sex should be steep considering the repercussions of an unwanted pregnancy
