While billions with a "b" continue to be handed over to support a proxy war in Ukraine, Americans in seven States of the Union are abandoned by "the government" corporations and left to freeze in a morass of mud, downed trees, ruined roads, fallen bridges, and polluted water.

The cretins are not providing aid themselves, and they are shutting down access to public facilities so that private sector relief organizations are losing access to staging areas, electricity, dry storage, and other precious resources that ought to be deployed for the disaster relief effort.

There is no cognizance in Washington, DC, or elsewhere, of just how devastated the whole region is and no awareness (yet) that this was not just another storm with a few hundred people displaced and a couple deaths.

Approximately 12,500 people are missing, presumed dead, from Asheville, North Carolina, alone. Think about that.

Thousands upon thousands more are dead and/or missing throughout the seven-State disaster area. Billions of dollars worth of infrastructure have been lost or damaged. In most areas, the storm damage from Helene is as raw today as the day it happened. This isn't going to be neatly wrapped up next week or next month or next year.

And what do you hear from the "national" news? Crickets.

The attitude of "Governor" Roy Cooper in charge of the British Territorial State-of-State pretending to be the "head of state" in North Carolina, is best exemplified by his three-day absence at the very beginning of the disaster.

Absent. Worthless. Trying to pretend it didn't happen. Sweep it under the rug. Nothing to see here. Move along.
