This is the lead up to the arrival of the Mayflower in Plymouth. History shows that the Voyage was not easy for the Pilgrims. They endured many hardships and persevered with GODS GUIDANCE at every turn. The pictures and part of the interviews from the mentions of a Pastor and Historian are not used in Voice but given credit for some of the information used.
Who were the people of the Plymouth Colony and why did they hold a feast of celebration in 1621 which we now call the first Thanksgiving? How did they manage that first winter in the wilderness? Why are these few settlers in New England held in such high esteem today when they considered their accomplishments all to be failures? And, what about those Puritans? Do they deserve the grim image history has given them?

Born in Philadelphia, Michael attended public schools in San Diego and Los Angeles before starting Yale at age 16 as a National Merit Scholar. He majored in American History and graduated with honors, before attending Yale Law School, where his classmates included Bill and Hillary Clinton.
