I. Ultimate Reality Confronts Job  - Job 38:1-13
* A. Who is this creature who challenges God? 
* 1. Where were you when I created all things?
* 2. Who established all the Laws of the Universe?
* 3. Who set all the limits of every element of Creation?
* 4. Have you commanded the Sun?
* B. Job replies to God - Job 42:5-6
* 1. Repentance is a gift from a merciful God 
* 2. By mercy and truth - Proverbs 16:6

II. Sound Mind Living - Micah 7:18-20
* A. The character of  God assures that mercy is available to those who qualify
* 1. The order is that truth precedes mercy
* a. Until someone repents of their wrong thinking, their idolatrous ideas, they cannot receive mercy
* b. Jacob was a deceptive scammer - Genesis 27
* c. He deceived Issac his father
* d. He stole Esau, his brother’s birth right 
* e. God gave truth to Jacob when he repented
* 2. Mercy is available to all who repent, believe and receive
* a. The Abrahamic covenant - Genesis 22:16-18
* b. Jesus is the “seed” promised to bring a blessing upon every nation and every family on earth
* B. The message of Micah
* 1. God’s wrath will come upon unrepentant nations
* 2. Yet God’s compassion is available to sinners 
* 3. Repent of your sins, believe the whole of God’s Word and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
