E.P. Carrillo hit a major home run with cigar lovers when they crafted the Encore. The blend earned a 96 rating and the No. 1 spot on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 list in 2015. Now, Ernesto and his team of up and coming blenders have crafted a much needed follow up called the Encore Black. Now this new Connecticut Broadleaf blend is working to fill the seriously sizable shoes of the original Encore line.

The blend for the Encore Black sounds powerful on paper. Under the Broadleaf wrapper, there's a Mexican San Andres binder with fillers from Nicaragua's Esteli, Condega and Jalapa growing regions. The only question that remains is - how is it? Can this blend produce the kind of experience that sent aficionados and critics soaring back in 2018? And the ONLY way to find out is with a cut and a light!
