A post-apocalyptic world is overrun by zombies, but one of them, known as "R," begins to experience human emotions after encountering a living girl named Julie. When R saves her from an attack, an unusual bond forms between them, sparking a transformation in R and challenging the boundaries between the living and the undead. As their connection deepens, R's humanity slowly resurfaces, offering hope for a cure in a decaying world. However, their growing relationship faces obstacles from both the human survivors and the dangerous skeletal creatures who threaten them all.
