Transportation Security Administration setting new rules for powdered products
Repost
Anyone traveling with loss powder over 350 milliliters, or 12 ounces, will now have to put it in their check-in luggage instead of in their carry on. The rule will apply to powdered products like baby powder, cosmetics, and protein mixes. The main concern is about powdered explosives that can be snuck into powdered products. The TSA is also worried about fentanyl and pepper spray making its way onto the plane.
