Curious about the GOSPEL?

What is the GOSPEL?
And if you are thinking of saying it is the “ Good News “ ~that is not
the definitive answer ! That is simply trading one cliche` for another.
The gospel in the WIDEST SENSE, is the whole of Scripture.
BUT ~ more epitomized, the gospel is the good news concerning
JESUS CHRIST as the only way of SALVATION !!
JESUS is THEE ONLY DOOR or PATH to the FATHER,
GOD ALMIGHTY.
I don’t know a more streamlined way to say that !

There is no OTHER way to be saved. CHRIST IS IT !
Nothing or no one other than CHRIST can take
you down the path to SALVATION and present you to the FATHER,
UNBLEMISHED, UN-STAINED, CLEAN & PURE.
WHEN YOU GO THROUGH CHRIST, BY WAY OF CHRIST,
AND CHRIST PRESENTS YOU TO THE FATHER, ALL THE FATHER
SEE’S IS YOU, CLEANSED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB !

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.”

!! THIS [IS] THE GOSPEL IN IT’S ENTIRETY !!
Remember I said that “in the WIDEST SENSE”, the gospel is the
whole of Scripture..? BUT ~ more epitomized, the gospel is the
good news concerning JESUS CHRIST as the way of SALVATION?

1 Corinthians 15:3
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;”

That is the definition in a nutshell. CHRIST died for our sins
according to the scriptures. BUT ~ there is FAR more to it.

The gospel is about JESUS !
If we give our testimony to our neighbors, saying:
“I became a Christian last year. I gave my heart to Jesus,”
we are bearing witness about JESUS, but we are not telling them the gospel,
because the gospel is not about us. The gospel is about JESUS ~
~ what HE did, (for you and me)
~ HIS life of perfect obedience,
~ HIS atoning death on the cross,
~ HIS resurrection from the dead,
~ HIS ascension into heaven, and
~ HIS outpouring of the HOLY SPIRIT upon the church.

The clock is ticking. Time is a physical property, and not made to stand forever. “ Time “ is a restricting constraint. It will be announced
at one point that: “ TIME NO LONGER..” Revelation 10:6
Until that declaration is made -- WE as the church, are to be proclaiming
The gospel to everyone, everywhere, until the fullness of the gentiles
Come in. Until then -- We have a JOB TO DO !
Declare the GOOD NEWS of CHRIST JESUS ( and ) THE PROMISE
Of HIS COMING. That is to say, ( now a days )
HIS SECOND COMING ! ! ! So put on your armor of GOD
And go and give to everyone the GOOD NEWS !
1 Corinthians 9:16
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

1 Corinthians 9:18
What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

Romans 10:15
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

1 Corinthians 15:45
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
