In this [LU | Lufax Holding Ltd ADR | Quick Take] video , we will be discussing Lu (LOFAX Holding Limited), a Chinese ADR in the Financial Credit Services industry. As a general rule, we do not recommend trading individual Chinese stocks due to the higher risks involved. This does not make them bad investments, but we prefer to play it safe. However, let's take a closer look at how LU has been performing recently.

On January 26th, the stock saw a dramatic increase, which looks to be caused by some positive news. However, shortly after, we saw a sharp correction. Upon further investigation, we can see that they had a reverse stock split and reported worse than expected earnings with a negative surprise on revenue. It's worth noting that they also announced a special dividend. This could be the cause of the initial jump, but it's unclear why.
