ALIEN OBSERVER

"Alien Observer" reflects the experience of being in the world but not of it. Through my lens, I extend my perception, marvelling at and dancing with God's wondrous creation. This video is a reverent exploration, seeing the world anew with observing, childlike eyes.

When did we forget that existence is essentially playful and full of joy? I guess we forgot that when we beLIEved in the illusion of separation. But everyone we meet is a mask of God and we must strive to remember that fact.

I begin the creative process without knowing what the finished work will look like, embracing the interplay between being both the observer and the observed. It’s gratifying to see the shots that took blood, sweat, and tears years ago have their brief moments of 'fame.'

As Tarkovsky said, "a book read by a thousand different people is a thousand different books"—so too, this video seen by a thousand different souls is a thousand different experiences. I'm less interested in what you think of it and more in what it made you feel (if anything).
