Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has reacted to the latest GDP data - which shows just 0.1% growth from July to September - saying he wants "better than the figures today".

Speaking during a visit to north Wales, Sir Keir said that "growing our economy is the single most important thing for this government", adding that "there are early signs that we're turning it around".

The PM also discussed division within his cabinet over assisted dying, stating that there will be a "free vote" on the bill as "it's an issue on which people have very deeply-held views which are not party political".
