Olson, US lawyer and strategic director of Environmental Health, joins a discussion with US biologist, researcher and university professor Dr Tyrone Hays, and lawyer, activist and former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. They are analysing the effect of chemical contaminants and endocrine disruptors like Atrazine, a pesticide manufactured by the Swiss agrochemical company Syngenta. It is the most commonly used pesticide in the United States – which consumes more than 36 million kilograms – but it is banned in Europe. This demonstrates the corruption of institutions responsible for safeguarding the citizenry. Atrazine has a sterilising effect on animals and it causes them to change sex. What effect does it have on humans, especially those in the pre-natal phase? No studies have been conducted on this topic, because they are not interested in the results; at present, the environmental movement’s sole concern is ‘carbon’.
