The Star-Spangled Banner, story by Francis Scott Key, Esquire

This is the story of Francis Scott Key when he went to negotiate the prisoner exchange between the colonies and the tyrants of Great Britain. There are really no words to describe the hardship of prisoners held captive unless you have faced it yourself. You really don’t know what it’s like to be placed with others in a confined area guarded, sometimes tortured bones at the feet and the hands and sometimes around the neck to demoralize, and a hold one captive against her will. History will reflect what did happen, and only when it is exposed by God. The United States of America struggled for many decades, and is still struggling now, and so I see that when our banner flies, we should regarded as our declaration of independence and as it is written the articles of our constitution of the American Republic.! One Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all!
