Saturday Studies Daniel 12 11-16-2024

Daniel chapter 12 concludes the vision that Daniel had back in chapter 10. The information from the vision reaches beyond our day and into the Tribulation Period and beyond.
When we go back to chapter 10 verse 14, we find some interesting information about the vision:
To whom it was directed--the Jews
When would it happen--in the latter days, the end of our age
How far off was it--many days--thus far it has been 2500+ years.
This chapter goes along with Jesus' Olivet Discourse when He spoke about the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet.
It was to be so long until the vision was fulfilled that Daniel was to seal up the interpretation of the vision until the time of the end. The believers would understand it in the latter days. We are in those latter days, and people are now able to understand Daniel's vision, even seeing the foreshadowing of the events.
The latter portion of the chapter deals with the Millennial Kingdom Age when the curse will be lifted. We read several verses from Isaiah 11:6-10 that speak of the wonderful conditions of life during that time.
