[042] Cask Strength Irish Whiskies

If you like a bold, flavorful Irish whisky, look no further than bottles that are "cask strength." These bottles contain whisky that comes straight from the cask (or barrel) with no watering down at all. This is unlike regular whiskies, which see the final product blended with water to create the taste and/or alcohol profile the distillery is looking for.

I don't have many cask strength whiskies on the shelves, but we're going to pull 3 of them down and taste them for this video. Redbreast 2022, The Irishman 2022, and Blue Spot. Conventional wisdom says Redbreast should easily beat the other two bottles. Will it? Watch and find out!
