Don’t take your eyes off the prize. No diversions!!Our achievable goal, which we can win, is the creation of a new world security and development architecture, by introducing the economic projects designed by the late economist and statesman Lyndon LaRouche as immediate, workable solutions for the worst crises presently plaguing the planet.

Yes, it is true, that the Trump Cabinet announcements have been cause for intense concern, in multiple ways, for many. Former National Security Advisor John Bolton; former CIA Director Mike Pompeo; the 50-plus former intelligence heads that, at the close of the 2020 Trump-Biden Presidential race, falsely contended that the New York Post story regarding material downloaded from Hunter Biden’s laptop “had all the earmarks of a a classic Russian disinformation campaign,” have all been made supremely uncomfortable by President-elect Trump’s recent Cabinet announcements.

Trump, for example, intends that former Congresswoman and Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard will become his Administration’s Director of National Intelligence. Bolton called this “the worst Cabinet-level appointment in history,” and the Atlantic Magazine, owned by Kamala Harris supporter Laurene Powell Jobs through her Emerson Collective, immediately ran an article titled: Tulsi Gabbard’s Nomination Is A National-Security Risk.”

But let’s not take our eyes off the prize. The War Party may have been made temporarily unhappy, but British intelligence and financial forces, temporarily destabilized, are now working overtime to quickly re-gain their footing. A new noise term—“the counter-elite—“ has now popped up, intended to misdirect the attention of the credulous by arbitrarily grouping together Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Vivek Ramasswarmy, Jordan Peterson and various other “pubic intellectuals” and “internet outlier innovators” as a single social formation. This is a diversion, and misses the international dynamic, especially involving what is both called the Global South and the Global Majority, as well as the prospects for a blowout of the trans-Atlantic monetary system. The system could collapse any day—perhaps due to internal divisions regarding the lost war in Ukraine, or how to move forward in Southwest Asia, or simply because the “$2 quadrillion-plus speculative bubble is simply no longer sustainable.

So we must not be conned by the “nuclear war now!!”crowd into fixations that prevent us from pursuing our mission. That mission is to prevent civilization-ending total war by invoking the spirit of President John F. Kennedy’s June, 1963 American University Address, and the spirit of composer Ludwig Beethoven and poet Friedrich Schiller, in order to establish, with the leadership of independent forces for peace and development in the United States, a new security and development architecture, and walk away from the ghouls of war.
