Ben Domenech: I’m Not Sure I’ve Ever Seen Joe Biden Look as Happy as He Does in These Pictures with Trump

Varney: “I just wanted to make my opinion clear that the way is clear now for a transformational government in place. The last one for you, John — Ben, real fast. Biden consistently attacked Trump calling him a fascist and a threat to democracy. I’ll show you a picture. Does this look like someone who — I mean, look at them, they’re beaming, Ben, for heaven’s sake. Does he — does Biden look like — Trump as a real threat to democracy now?” [crosstalk]
DOMENECH: “Yeah, what you see in your picture, Stuart, is obviously Donald Trump alongside two of his best demographics, you know, older Americans and suburban moms, who voted for him emphatically over Kamala Harris. I’m sorry, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Joe Biden look as happy as he does in these pictures.”
Varney: “It’s really surprising, isn’t it?”
DOMENECH: “I mean, you can interpret it for yourself. I know what my interpretation is, which is that I think that he seems very satisfied that this election resulted the way that it did. And look, you can, I mean, she did wear red when she went to vote, Stuart.”
Varney: “This is true. Yeah.”
DOMENECH: “I mean, why?” (Laughter)
Varney: “I got it. I got it. Hardly a threat to democracy in that picture. All right, Ben, thanks for joining us.”
