Christian Gospel traditional nativity idol lies the word of God says so

Just think and read scriptures. The nativity of the Lord Jesus was not at all as it is often depicted in paintings and sculptures. The wise men were definitely not there according to scripture. And besides all this, is it not idolatry to have images of the Lord in such ways?
