On December 12, 2023, police received a report of a man firing shots at a home in Brookfield, WI. When all available officers arrived, they found no activity at the scene, leading them to suspect it was a swatting incident. The female caller repeatedly contacted the police throughout the night. After investigating further, officers were able to identify her and decided to pay her a surprise visit.
