Sermon on the Mount- The Beatitudes: The Blessing Nobody Wants (Matthew 5:10-12)

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness- this is the blessing nobody wants. But if you take an honest look at the New Testament, trials and persecution are promised for those who follow the Lord Jesus. Should this make us sad? Want to give up? No! We are to be glad and rejoice.
