Cooper Fritz works in Idaho Falls as the Aquifer Recharge Program Coordinator for the Idaho Water Resource Board's recharge program for diversions above American Falls. More recently, he has been involved in developing new dedicated recharge infrastructure in east Idaho. In addition to program coordination, he has professional experience in hydrogeology, water quality, project management, and water rights analysis.

Cooper's educational background is in water resources management, including a Master's thesis on hydrologic responses to recharge basin infiltration events and the geochemical evolution of recharged water, completed in the University of Idaho's Geology Department.

This is a continuing effort to help us understand the 'water wars' occurring in Idaho and what we can do about them.
