GETTING TO KNOW BEAUTIFUL SÃO LUÍS DO MARANHÃO!

In this video we show you as much as we can from the historical centre of São Luís the capital of the state of Maranhão. We begin with Palácio dos Leões, then we show you Palácio da Justiça, Palácio de la Ravardière which is the city hall of the city of São Luís, Praça dos Poetas, Praça Pedro II, Catedral Metropolitana de São Luis - Nossa Senhora da Vitória, etc. We also visited the historic part of São Luís on a Sunday which is the day when the streets are full of street vendors and you can buy a wide variety of products from Coconut water, corn and Cachaça to some very typical dishes from the region. Next we walked around this neighbourhood a bit more and also visited the museum of gastronomy which was very interesting. Lastly we tasted a typical pastry from this region and share with you the history behind the creation of this sweet. We hope you enjoy the video :)
