The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt | Finding Ciri, fighting the Wild Hunt, and Vesemir's tragic death

Gameplay Part 15 of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt...

We go back and decide to let Keira Metz live...better outcome for the next part of the game. Geralt also starts the side quest of helping the Pellar on Fyke Island with a ritual to summon Ambros, his dead father. Geralt fights off monsters and witch hunters before the ritual ends up getting botched.

Now off to Skellige, Geralt sails out to the Isle of Mists to find Ciri. Ambushed by sirens before he is led by a firefly to the island and through a foggy landscape with some foglets to kill before coming to a locked cottage. There are some dwarves inside who know about Ciri. But Geralt has to help find and save 3 missing dwarves first. 2 are already dead and one fell asleep in a tower due to narcolepsy. After bringing him bak to the cottage, the dwarves tell you Ciri is inside but probably dead since she is cold and won't wakeup. Geralt gets her to wakeup and she tells you about her journey. The dwarves steal your boat and Ciri teleports you both to Kaer Morhen.
Ciri reunites with Vesemir, Yennefer, and Triss before everyone heads into the castle to prepare for the battle with the Wild Hunt. There are multiple waves of battle. Yen makes a protective field around Kaer Morhen to start. Geralt and Lambert go out into the woods to close portals the Wild Hunt is coming from. Triss uses fire to kill some. The battle ensures in the courtyard with gameplay switching from Geralt to Ciri. Eventually, the Wild Hunt can't be held back and they burst through the gates and freeze everyone in their wake. Vesemir tries to save Ciri when he sees Eredin, but is killed by the Wild Hunt. This causes Ciri to give in to despair and let her power run wild with a deadly scream that decimates the Wild Hunt. Realizing the battle is lost, Caranthir creates a portal for the surviving warriors to retreat through. Eredin, desperate to capture Ciri, tries to grab her but is almost consumed by her burst of power until he is literally dragged into the portal by Caranthir. Ciri's out of control powers now endanger her own allies, but fortunately Avallac'h appears and manages to incapacitate her.
At the funeral for Vesemir, they burn is body and Avallac'h wants Geralt to help Ciri master her powers. Geralt had to lift her spirits first with a snowball fight and then urges her to speak to her father, Emhyr, in Vizima before heading to Velen to go to Bald Mountain. The emperor tries to give Geralt his reward before Geralt declines and Ciri gets pissed then Emhyr tries to get her to stay. They both leave and the new quest begins.
