The Word of God To Meditate On Today
Gen 21:12-14
Here, God told Abraham to listen to Sarah because of the timeless truth contained in what she said. In Isaac was the promise of God to be fulfilled. Ishmael represented self-effort (permissive will), while Isaac represented God's promise (God perfect will). Remember that when that which is perfect comes, the imperfect needs to go away. This is characteristic of every Believer's life. Permissive will has side effects, which was seen in Hagar and Ismael's attitude. Which do you prefer, the permissive will or perfect will of God? What are you doing about it today?

12 But God told Abraham, “Do not be upset over the boy and your servant. Do whatever Sarah tells you, for Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted.
13 But I will also make a nation of the descendants of Hagar’s son because he is your son, too.”
14 So Abraham got up early the next morning, prepared food and a container of water, and strapped them on Hagar’s shoulders. Then he sent her away with their son, and she wandered aimlessly in the wilderness of Beersheba.

Personal Supplication
Pray that you will not be caught in the web of God's permissive will but live in His perfect will for your life. Also pray that you will not run ahead of God.
Eccl 3:11
11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ
