NEKC Chamber wants your input on four new murals for Independence Avenue

Art will come to life this summer on Independence Avenue. The Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and the Independence Avenue Community Improvement District plan to add four more murals along the street. The project coordinator said murals help maintain a community feel, add identity and make a splash of color in the area. The new murals will be born out of ideas gathered through an online survey of the community.
