Mortal Kombat Raiden

Raiden is a character from the *Mortal Kombat* game series, created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. He is the god of thunder and one of the main heroes of the franchise. Raiden is responsible for protecting Earth and its dimensions against supernatural threats, such as Emperor Shao Kahn and other villains. He is known for his abilities with electricity, being able to generate lightning, fly and teleport. Initially, Raiden is a celestial being, but throughout the series, he becomes more directly involved in the battles for Earth's survival. Throughout the games, he is portrayed as a powerful and wise figure, but also with a personality that can be pragmatic and sometimes even dark, especially when the stakes for the world become greater.
