IceWind | The Njord RW100

IceWind's Njord RW100 vertical-axis wind turbine is set up on the IceWind Power Platform at the Geldingadalur volcanic eruption in the Reykanes Peninsula of Iceland in May 2021. Working in conjunction with solar, this platform is powering the eruption livestream for national media outlet Morgunbladid (see it here: https://bit.ly/LivestremVolcano).

Since this video was taken, the lava has surrounded the Power Platform.
