Trump gives Elon Musk mission to cut costs, slash red tape

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said on Tuesday Elon Musk and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will lead the newly created Department of Government Efficiency, while a host of other names were announced for key roles including defense, homeland security and running the CIA.
