Thursday Bible Life Today Feast of Tabernacles 11-14-2024

We consider the Feast of Tabernacles this morning. A mistake is made early in the video calling it the Feast of Trumpets, but it is the Feast of Tabernacles. It is the most joyous of the seven Feasts of the LORD, and it lasts for seven days. It starts on the 15th day of the 7th month of the religious calendar, the month of Tishri.
The people are to make booths to dwell in for the week, commemorating the living conditions of their ancestors in their wilderness wanderings after leaving Egypt on their way to the Promised Land.
As in the other Feasts, we consider how Jesus fulfilled the Spiritual significance of this Feast. We will look at the following passages:
Leviticus 23:33-43
Exodus 23:14-17
Deuteronomy 16:13-17
John 7:1-10, 14, 37-39
John 8:12
Zechariah 14:16-17
Tabernacles is also one of the Feasts we will be observing in the Millennial Kingdom Age
